Mike and the Monsters cover a wide range and variety of music, performed with energy, professionalism, style and true rock and roll conviction! Modern sounds, classic rock and maximum danceable party rock make up the Monsters musical repertoire. We are an extremely INTERACTIVE band!!! Audience participation is a MUST at a Mike and the Monster's show!!! So, dont be shy! Cause we're gonna have you singing, dancing, playing a little air guitar and having a few toasts with our audience, whether it be a birthday, anniversay, or just because it's 5 O'clock...somewhere!!! All Monster members are experienced Capital District and regional music veterans, coming together with one goal " to deliver the goods“ with a great live show and to keep people coming back for more! Deep musicianship, multi-vocals along with the great selling point and secret weapon in lead vocalist Michaele Ann Flynn, build a solid foundation for a Monster house of good times and great music!!!
Hi ya! I'm Michaele Ann (aka - Mike) and I have been a long time rocker in the upstate capital area. As you can tell by all the photos.. I'm infamous for changing my "Look!" (Got to keep it FRESH!)over the years I have fronted several original and cover bands performing from Albany, N.Y. and it's surrounding cities including Massachusettes, Boston, Syracuse, and New York City. The band I have been noted for is "Tokyo Rose" also known as "Shovelhead." This original band of 9 years had an "Evanescence/Pantera" feel. With Shovelhead in the past, I took a short break. Needing to get back to performing, I opted to build a band complete with some of the most established and well rounded players in the area. Creating one of the best Pop/Rock cover bands in the area. As a front person, my goal is to be as interactive with our audience as possible!! I may borrow your hat, have a seat on your lap, share some wings, have a shot, dance on the bar, or have a chorus join me on stage!! WHATEVER strikes my mood at the moment!! Life should be a party!
